BUȘTENI & BUCEGI MOUNTAINS, ROMANIA | 11–15 SEPTEMBER 2026
An invitation for those who feel a quiet disconnect within, ready to reclaim their clarity, inner power, and a renewed sense of direction.
You spend hours researching new careers, projects, or life changes, opening dozens of tabs, but you eventually close them all because you don't trust your gut enough to choose one.
You quietly know it is time for a major change in your life—a new path, a shift in dynamics, a bold step—but you keep finding logical excuses to postpone the leap because you lack the courage to disrupt the status quo.
Instead of engaging in passions or projects that used to give you life, you spend your evenings defaulting to endless scrolling or screens just to quiet the background noise in your head.
You catch yourself frequently saying "it's fine" or over-accommodating others in your daily interactions, physically feeling the drain of giving away your power just to keep the peace.
Your daily routine runs flawlessly, yet you frequently reach the end of the month realizing you haven't felt deeply engaged, passionately driven, or fully alive in weeks.
If you recognized yourself in those behaviors, understand this: you are not failing. You are experiencing a highly effective survival mechanism that has simply outlived its usefulness. Let's call it The Alignment Gap.
For years, you have navigated using an external compass—fulfilling expectations and performing beautifully to achieve "success." But the root cause of your exhaustion is simple: The purpose and pace the world demands from you no longer match the deeper truth of who you are.
"You don’t lack clarity; you are just using the wrong map."
The hesitation, the numbing, and the drained energy are not character flaws. They are symptoms of your inner power refusing to invest energy into a path that isn't truly yours anymore. You aren't lost; you are just trying to find your soul's direction on a map drawn by someone else.
We do not close this gap with more overthinking, more endless journaling, or more research. We close it through a grounded, physical, and highly intentional process that combines body-based practice, nature immersion, physical activity, and guided reflection.
"The Bucegi Journey is not an escape from life. It is a deliberate step out of noise, pressure, and repetition so you can hear yourself again — and return with greater clarity and confidence about what is next."
This retreat is designed to support real, lasting change when you return to your home, to your office, your routines, and your relationships.
When facing your next big career move or life choice, you will be able to trust your gut rather than getting stuck in endless research and hesitation.
You will return to your colleagues and family able to decline draining requests and protect your time, ending the habit of over-accommodating just to keep the peace.
Instead of spending your weekends simply recovering from the week's stress, you will have the focus and energy to engage in things that make you feel fully alive.
The "Maybe Next Year" excuses will be replaced by a steady inner compass and the courage to finally take the practical steps you have been putting off.
Some places do more than offer a beautiful backdrop; their sheer physical scale puts our daily worries back into proportion. We chose the Bucegi Mountains because this landscape acts as a natural reset for your nervous system. Far from the cramped, relentless noise of urban life, the vastness of the high plateau, the deep valleys, the lake, the cave, and the crisp silence surrounding the ancient Sphinx rock formation create a physical environment where your mind naturally quiets.
These landscapes provide the ideal conditions for meeting yourself, gaining perspective, and true reconnection.
September is the ideal moment. It is the closing of summer—a time to gather strength and insight before the season turns and the year rushes toward its end. This retreat is designed for that exact timing: when you don’t need more stimulation, but a meaningful pause. The summer crowds have left the Bucegi plateau, leaving quiet trails, crisp air, and the perfect conditions to fully immerse yourself in the journey.
"We do not force breakthroughs; we create the right conditions for them."
This journey follows a carefully guided progression through the phases of the Embodied Alignment Process: release, reconnection, and direction. Each day weaves together embodiment practices, nature experiences, and guided meditations, ensuring your insights do not remain abstract—they become a grounded, lived experience.
The experience is moderate and energizing rather than extreme. We use the cave, the forest, the mountain to awaken the body and sharpen perception, keeping the process grounded, structured, and deep.
Your journey begins in the mountain town of Bușteni. The moment you arrive, the requirement to "perform" ends. This first evening is dedicated to actively unplugging—stepping out of your daily responsibilities and allowing your nervous system to recognize it is safe to rest.
At 17:00, we gather for our Opening Circle—the true start of the retreat. Here, we leave our external roles at the door, set our intentions for the days ahead, and connect with the group. We end the day with a warm, shared dinner at the hotel.
Note: Check-in at Hotel Steaua Nordului is available from 14:00.
This morning begins with an embodiment practice designed to gently pull you out of your head and into your physical senses. After breakfast, we drive to the Ialomiței Cave. Descending into the quiet depth of the cave offers a visceral experience of "dropping in."
Following a shared lunch, we take a peaceful walk by Lake Bolboci. In the afternoon, we gather for a guided drum meditation in the woods—using rhythm as a grounded tool to physically discharge stored tension.
Note: We recommend bringing an extra empty bottle to collect fresh mountain water from the cave.
Following an early breakfast, we head up to the high Bucegi plateau for a full day of active pilgrimage toward Mount Omu. This hike is the physical core of our Recalibration phase. We use the steady, rhythmic movement of walking to bypass the over-analytical mind.
After a well-earned picnic lunch on the mountain, enjoying the vast views, we hike to the Caraiman mountain hut. Weather permitting, we trade the hotel for an authentic high-altitude experience. We will share a sunset practice, a hearty warm dinner, and sleep close to the stars.
Note: Accommodation at the hut is in shared, rustic dorms. No showers available for this night.
We wake up at the mountain hut, starting our day with a grounding embodiment practice to anchor the strength built from yesterday's hike. Today is the culmination of our inner work, spent near the legendary Sphinx and Babele stone formations.
By now, the question shifts from "What is wrong?" to "What is now clear?" Near the ancient stones, we will hold a guided drum journey to access a renewed sense of personal power and a clear direction.
We will enjoy a picnic on the plateau before beginning our descent back to Bușteni. You will have free time to rest before we gather for a night integration circle, followed by dinner.
The journey doesn't end on the mountain; it ends when we return home. On this final morning, we seal the process. After a gentle morning practice and breakfast, we will gather for our closing circle.
Through vision-based exercises, final integration work, and personal guidance, we will connect your restored clarity and courage directly to your renewed direction. The goal is for you to leave feeling capable and grounded.
We share one last lunch together. Departure is at 14:00.
Note on the itinerary: The mountain always sets the final conditions. While we maintain a clear structure and intention for the journey, the exact daily flow and activities may be adjusted depending on weather or group safety. The core arc of the retreat remains intact no matter the conditions.
Today, I work as a facilitator and therapist, combining 15 years of experience in energy work, vibrational therapies, and embodiment practices to help people navigate deep life transitions. I have had the honor of supporting over 100 individuals in both personal and group journeys, helping them move from exhaustion to clarity and renewed power.
My approach is deeply grounded because I know the world you are stepping out of. For years, alongside my training in healing and spiritual work, I built a demanding professional path in sustainability and climate change mitigation. I hold a PhD in Urban Environmental Engineering. I understand the intense pressure to perform, the weight of carrying heavy responsibilities, and how easily we can lose our inner compass while building a "successful" outer life.
This dual background allows me to hold a space that respects both the practical, logical realities of your daily life and the quiet depth needed for true transformation. I chose the Bucegi Mountains deliberately. It is a place I know intimately, and one that has brought me profound clarity and turning-point insights. I guide this journey from a lived relationship with the mountain, not borrowed mythology.
I found the event friendly and welcoming. I appreciated the way Mara Regina, the practitioner, led us through the session. I enjoyed the drumming. I came away thinking about the importance of living in the moment and having courage to make change in one's life.
Thank you, Mara Regina, for the lovely experience! It gave me a sense of peace and grounding.
I attended two gatherings led by Mara Regina — a cacao ritual and a drum meditation with movement. They were welcoming experiences, guided with great sensitivity.
Mara Regina creates a safe, human, and deeply present space, where each person can experience the journey in their own way, without pressure. You can truly feel the care and genuine intention she brings to her work.
I attended several events. Soothing with words, music and drum. Mysterious tarot. Cooperative voice of joy, from the earth.
They brought me calm and authentic connection to myself when I needed it most, even if I didn't always realize it, this world demands we slow down.
Mara Regina offered me a session during a challenging period in my life. She is a deeply grounded and extraordinary human being. During the session, I felt truly cared for and empathised with—exactly what I needed at the time. The time I spent with Mara Regina lifted my energy and helped me reconnect with my center.
You will be based in Bușteni, a mountain town that offers both access and comfort — close enough to the wildness of the Bucegi, yet grounded enough to support rest, integration, and ease.
The retreat includes four nights of accommodation, including one night in a traditional mountain hut on the plateau, weather permitting. This contrast is part of the experience: comfort and grounding below, vastness and simplicity above.
Our main accommodation in Bușteni. A welcoming small hotel with views toward the Bucegi range and Caraiman Massif. Combines practical comfort with a peaceful setting, offering an on-site restaurant, terrace, garden, and relaxation spaces.
Weather allowing, we spend one night at this restored mountain refuge. Set beneath the dramatic Caraiman Wall, it offers spectacular high-altitude views, cooked meals, and rustic shared lodging that invites a deeper connection with the wild beauty.
Note: Accommodation is mainly in double rooms at the hotel, with a small number of single rooms available on request.
This retreat is intentionally small. The price reflects not only accommodation and logistics, but also the depth of facilitation, the held structure of the journey, and the uniqueness of the setting. Places are limited so the group remains intimate and well supported.
Perfect for making friends
Total privacy & focus
Note: The private room upgrade applies to the 3 nights spent at the hotel in Bușteni. The night at Caraiman Hut is shared for all participants and does not include shower facilities.
Everything is organized for you. You just show up.
If, on the other hand, you are sincerely ready to stop abandoning yourself and build something more truthful from the inside, this retreat may be exactly the kind of space you need.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE: August 20th, 2026.
FLIGHTS: Do NOT buy your ticket until we confirm the group size.
REFUNDS: 100% refund available up to 2 months before the start date (July 11, 2026).
Transparency. No fine print.
No. This retreat is designed for people who want something deeper, but may not identify strongly with spiritual labels. The experience includes reflection, ritual, and symbolic places, yet it is held in a grounded and accessible way.
We are grounded. Yes, we use drums and rituals, but we are not floating in the clouds. You don't need to "believe" in anything—you just need to be open to the experience. And have strong intention!
We do not work with any substance nor plant medicine.
Except in the mountain hut, where we all share the same space, you will have your own space (or shared with one person). We honor silence as much as we honor connection. You are never forced to share more than you want.
The night at Caraiman Hut (2,025m) is an authentic mountain experience. Due to the remote location and limited resources of high-altitude refuges, all lodging is in shared dorms and there are no shower facilities for this specific night. This one night of shared "mountain living" is a key part of the group journey and the Ascent phase. Your private room and a hot shower will be waiting for you back in Bușteni the following day.
No. You need to be healthy and active. The retreat is moderate and energising rather than extreme. You should be comfortable walking on mountain terrain for several hours, but this is not designed as a high-performance trekking experience. We are hiking on the mountains (Bucegi Plateau) and walking in nature daily. On one of the days we may hike between 6 and 8 hours at a moderate pace. We will shorten the distance in case of bad weather conditions. We will not hike in steep areas, but on the plateau. The purpose of the hiking is perspective, embodiment, and connection — not physical proving.
In the town of Bușteni and at our hotel, connectivity is reliable. On the mountain plateau, signal exists but can be intermittent or weak depending on the specific location. Regarding the night at the Caraiman Hut, we are currently verifying the specific Wi-Fi and signal status and will update this information soon. However, we encourage you to view the mountain phase as a valuable opportunity to "unplug" and fully immerse yourself in the environment.
Good hiking boots are essential for the plateau terrain. You will also need layers of clothing to adjust to changing mountain temperatures, and a reliable rain-proof jacket or rain poncho is mandatory. Walking poles are useful for additional stability on the trail, but they are not compulsory. Don't worry about the specifics yet—a complete, detailed list of what to bring will be sent to you after registration.
The mountain always sets the final conditions. We keep a clear structure and intention for the journey, while remaining flexible with exact logistics if weather or safety requires adjustment. The inner arc of the retreat remains intact even if practical details shift.
Yes. In fact, that is one of the clearest fits for this retreat. It is designed for moments when something is shifting, when perspective is needed, and when the next chapter has not yet fully clarified itself.
Freedom. We do not provide meals directly. Instead, you choose from local menus at restaurants and taverns to ensure you eat exactly what suits your personal needs. For picnics, we visit a supermarket together so you can select your own supplies. (Estimated budget approx. €30-40/day).
Since you choose your own restaurant meals and supermarket supplies, you have full control over your diet during most of the retreat. However, for the dinner and breakfast at Caraiman Hut, please inform us of any severe allergies or dietary limitations during registration. We will coordinate with the hut managers to see what is possible. For those with highly restrictive diets, we strongly recommend purchasing additional safe snacks or supplies during our supermarket trip in Bușteni as a reliable backup.
1. The Easy Way: Book our optional Group Transfer (€90 round trip). We pick you up in Bucharest airport and drop you at the hotel.
2. The Independent Way:
Yes. Coming alone is completely welcome, and many people find that solo arrival allows them to enter the retreat more openly. The group setting is intentionally warm, intimate, and supportive. If you choose the Shared Room option, we will match you with another participant of the same gender.
We offer a 100% refund up to 2 months before the retreat (until July 11, 2026). After that date, there are no refunds. Why? Because commitment is the first step of the ritual. Once you are in, be all in.
You secure your spot with a deposit today. The remaining balance is due by August 10th (or as per confirmation email details).
